Tinder and dating apps became an intrical part of my life starting with my bartending days at a sushi restaurant in downtown Greenville.
I was the only male working in the front of the house and my coworkers were, by no accident, very attractive women. One day they were all huddled around this girls phone and I couldn't help but ask what the big fuss was about. She had just downloaded tinder and as soon as I realized the concept I was all in. People say tinder and other apps are just “hookup” sites. In reality that is somewhat true but I promise that if you approach it as such you will utterly fail. You would be hard pressed to find an attractive woman who has ever responded to “wanna fuck” or “Hey” on tinder and fucked that guy. Although the end may be just a hook up, the approach of presenting yourself as “not a creep” is always at the forefront. Bartending is right under “professional athlete” or “movie star” as the best job to have when using a dating app. What is less commital than offering a free drink to stop by and say hello? You can bring your friends to judge me, you can escape very easily, and who doesnt love a free drink? I have never had a problem meeting women but I would say using apps put my experiences to another level. This puts a base to many stories I have about women. I would say the two most important woman in my life to me, my daughters mother and the girl who I was with when the feds picked me up, I met on tinder. The thing about a “hook up” is that I view most of mine as a shared experience of affection and passion that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Most of the girls I met on tinder arent “stupid whores” or “sluts” they are amazing, empowered women who I was lucky enough to share my time with. This is the outlook I have when I write and I feel like knowing this will help the reader understand where I’m coming from if I say that I “met this girl on tinder”.
